Motorcycle Service Advisor
We are looking
for enthusiastic motorcycle riders to join our team. We are the premier
Motorcycle Dealership in the North Bay Area and offer new motorcycle
sales, factory authorized service, BMW parts and Riders Apparel as well
as many after-market product lines.
A Full-time
position is available in the Service Department.
The
successful Service Advisor candidate will:
- Answer
the phone
- Greet
Customers and check-in motorcycles for service
- Support
the activities of the Technicians
- Support
dealership operations in Parts, Sales
- Maintain
a clean shop appearance
- Shuttle
customers / bikes.
The ideal
candidate will:
- Have
basic knowledge of mechanical systems and motorcycles
- Be able
to multitask and manage many concurrent projects
- Be
prompt and courteous
- Have
exceptional attention to detail
- Work
well in a team environment
- Possess
excellent computer skills
- Be
personable, able to sell, and provide a great service experience

Available to work Tuesday through Saturday.
In addition
to the minimum qualifications listed above, applicants will receive
special consideration if they:
- Express
interest in staying with us for the long term and indicate a desire to
move up to technician or management positions over time
- Have
experience with BMW motorcycles either personally or professionally
- Are
experienced working with BMW Automobiles in a parts or service
capacity.
Marin BMW is

position provides a base salary, plus incentive pay based on
departmental performance. Total compensation depends on experience and

successful Service Technician candidate will:
Complete service and repairs on BMW Motorcycles
Diagnose and repair mechanical problems on BMW Motorcycles
Provide mentorship to junior team members
Document all activities in detail
The ideal
candidate will:
Have extensive knowledge of mechanical systems and BMW motorcycles
At least 3 years experience working in Motorcycle service, Ideally
with BMW
Possess a complete set of tools
Be prompt and courteous
Be able to read and understand workshop manuals
Have exceptional attention to detail
Work well in a team environment
Be comfortable with talking to customers as well as working with
master technicians and apprentices
Available to work Tuesday through Saturday
In addition
to the minimum qualifications listed above, applicants will receive
special consideration if they:
Have completed BMW Certification or made progress towards same
Have experience working on BMW Authority bikes
Have experience working on BMW Automobiles
Express interest in staying with us for the long term
indicate a desire to partake in on-line and on-site training programs
